New Spiritual Companions
We are currently designing a program where we will train volunteers to be spiritual companions. These volunteers will be an integral part of our mission. The role of spiritual companions is to provide comfort and spiritual companionship during a time when patients and their families may feel isolated and alone. Volunteers will receive extensive training on how to provide spiritual support to patients of all faiths and backgrounds. They will listen with empathy and help patients find peace and meaning in their final days.
The program will also provide ongoing support and supervision for volunteers to ensure that they are well-equipped to handle the emotional challenges of this role. We believe that this program will not only benefit patients and their families, but also provide a meaningful and fulfilling experience for our volunteers.
